- Intended for new/less experienced racers (no age requirement)
- The goal here is to have fun, and to work towards getting fast and consistant enough to move up
- Any 2wd vehicle is allowed.

Stock Spec Slash Rules
- Must use stock Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis, unaltered
- Must use XL-5 ESC & unaltered Titan 12t 550 brushed motor
- Choice of Traxxas 7-cell Ni-MH or any 2-cell Li-Po (Li-Po's MUST be charged in a Li-Po Sack)
- Must use stock Slash Tires, Wheels, & Inserts
- Any 1/10 short course truck body
- Any Slash specific upgrade (made by Traxxas only) is allowed
- NO SWAY BARS

Stock Short Course
- Any 1/10 Short Course truck fitting ROAR's maximum dimensions (conversion kits allowed)
- Must be 2wd REAR motor (no mid motor conversions)
- Any 6-cell Ni-MH or 2-cell Li-Po battery allowed (Li-Po's MUST be charged in a Li-Po Sack)
- Any ROAR approved brushless 17.5 motors
- Any ESC with zero timing advance or dynamic timing/boost/turbo turned off signified by telltale lights in neutral
- Any brushed motor ESC
- Any ROAR legal 27t brushed motor
- Any 2.2/3.0 short course tire
