General
- Minimum Weight: 1LBS.10oz. (26 ounces / 737 grams)
- If needed, any additional ballast or lead must be added within the center battery section of the chassis only (top deck is fine).
- Minimum Ride Height: 6mm (0.236in.)
- Any 2/3a NiMH battery up to 6-cell 1600mah is allowed. No Li-Po.
- ALL parts and peices must remain stock and unaltered unless otherwise stated. No milling, cutting, dremeling, drilling extra holes, or modifying of the chassis or any part of the car to alter the geometry or original design or to reduce weight.
- No parts can be removed unless otherwise stated. Any allowed modifications or aftermarket parts will be listed below.
Chassis / Suspension
- Filing a moving part to correct binding from the factory is allowed.
- Shimming to fix slop or adjust camber/steering links is allowed.
- Shimming suspension mounts, suspension arms and/or C-Hubs after removing material may be considered altering of the original design and will not be allowed.
- Aftermarket steering drag-links and bell-cranks are allowed. However, the drag-link and bell-crank system must be the same dimension and geometry as the stock Losi drag-link.
- Aluminum Front (top and bottom) bulkhead is allowed along with a front bulkhead brace.
- Aftermarket Shocks & Springs are allowed.
- Removing the rear lower shock mounts and mounting the shocks directly to the arm is allowed.
- Adjustable turn-buckles and aftermarket ballcups are allowed.
- Aftermarket CVD's are allowed.
- Any Aftermarket Mini-T Ball-differential is allowed.
Electronics
- The electronics can be moved to personal preference, but must remain within the chassis plate area. The battery can be mounted in either the center or left location. The plastic battery retaining strips may not be removed or altered to allow the battery to be moved further left. The battery must remain in one of the two stock locations and secured with the stock battery strap.
- You may change out the radio/receiver and servo for your preference.
- Aftermarket connectors may be used for Battery to Electronic Speed Control connection. No hard wiring the battery to the ESC. Must use connectors.
- Additional fans, heat-sinks, or motor coolies for the motor or ESC is not allowed.
ESC & Motor
- Drivers will have a choice between the Stock Losi Motor or the 4200kv Mamba brushless motor.
- If the Stock Losi Motor is used, the stock ESC and Motor must be used (ESC Part #:LOSB0826 / Motor Part #:LOSB1216) The motor, brush springs, and brushes must remain unaltered, stock from factory. The stock connectors for Motor to ESC must also be used. NOTE BRUSHED GEAR RULE: 16 / 60 (aftermarket gears are allowed but must be 16/60)
- If the Mamba 4200kv Brushless motor is used, then drivers will only have the choice of Castle Creations Mamba-25, Sidewinder, or MicroPRO speed controls. Other ESC's are not allowed until approval prior to use. BRUSHLESS GEAR RULE: Unlimited
Tires, Wheels & Inserts
- The stock, un-altered Losi Mini Late Model and/or Slider foam inserts must be used (no double stuffing the inserts). No splicing or resizing tires. Gluing or taping the outside of the tire is allowed. Gluing, taping, or altering the inside of the tire in any way is not allowed. Any compound of any allowed tire is permitted on any corner of the car. Due to tire and wheel shortages, the following tires and wheels will be allowed for the remainder of the 2009/2010 indoor carpet season:

- Minimum body height: 3.5" (measured at highest point of roof) (3.75" will be the new rule after the '09/'10 winter season)
- Maximum rear spoiler chord measurement is 1.750" measured from rear deck. Spoiler must fit between the molded end caps.
- The front splitter must remain intact with no less than a .050" thick dropdown (lip).
- Intentional flaring of front fenders or rear quarter panels is not allowed. Adding extra fins, spoilers, belly-pans, side dams or any other additional aero devices to the car or body is also not allowed.
